Previously seen in Marble (and with actual wings) the Leather Wings 2.0 sneaker from adidas’ Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2010 Collection comes in a new “Flames” version. First spotted at Bread & Butter, the mid top Attitude-inspired sneaker comes in an eye-catching yellow to red gradient color up with black accents throughout. Available for pre-order from Opening Ceremony soon.

Nike Zoom Vomero

As part of the 2010 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle collection, Nike will be releasing this pair of Nike Zoom Vomero for ladies. The shoes were actually created by 16-year-old Claire Logue, who did have some help from Nike designer Laura Myre. The shoes feature an eye-catching design, which includes brown, white, and pink hues. Look for them to release to select accounts on December 11, 2010 and retail for $130

The First KICKS Ever To Be Banned By The NBA

For the first time in its 64-year history, the National Basketball Association (NBA) has banned a new line of shoes based on the league’s rule against an “unfair competitive advantage” that increases a player’s vertical leap. The league’s ban on Athletic Propulsion Labs’ Concept 1 confirms the company’s claims that the shoe, with its Load ‘N Launch™ Technology
We recently had a chance to work with APL sneakers to try them out and … well you will have to wait and see our findings. The whole situation is pretty ironic that this action comes on the 25th anniversary of the NBA’s ban on Nike’s Air Jordan shoes, reason being of their colorful appearance rather than any performance advantage.
