Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘Floridians’

Sneakerheads like to get creative with nicknames for high-energy and thoughtful colorways. Last year’s ‘Sprite’ didn’t exactly house an official connection with the beverage brand, but LeBron’s previous endorsement of the product as well as earlier ‘PE’ release of his Nike LeBrons made that nickname rather seamless. The Vivid Orange/Cherry that has been making its rounds had been un-officially dubbed ‘Bubblicious’ (one of LeBrons other product endorsements), but this May 5th release is actually a Low-top version of the Floridians PE that LeBron wore some time ago. We’ve got another look at these throwback tributes below, so take a look and we’ll keep you updated on more LeBron 9

Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme - Blake Griffin "Galaxy" All-Star PE

In just his second full season in the NBA, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin was voted in as a starter for the All-Star Game. With the amount of highlight reel-worthy plays he makes throughout the course of a season in a city like Los Angeles, it's hard to imagine a scenario where he doesn't start for the foreseeable future. In this year's game, Nike hooked Blake up with a special "Galaxy" version of the Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme, a model he's been wearing with the Clippers for the last several months. Today, we get a closer look at these space age kicks.
A mixture of blues and greens are used on the shoe's upper, which is constructed with synthetic materials, mesh, Flywire and TPU overlays. Black works the tongue, collar and a starry-speckled midsole, while the popular Galaxy print appears on the laces and inner lining. A custom BG32 mission patch appears on the tongue; Swoosh logos on the side panels are done in orange; and a glow-in-the-dark outsole finishes things off below.

Kobe x Nike Air Yeezy 2

Kanye West has been quick to lend his services when it comes to helping to promote Kobe Bryant’s Nike shoes. He stepped in as the villain in last year’s Black Mamba short film and then showed up again for the ZK7 to be a part of the KobeSystem‘s star-studded live audience. It looks like the favor has finally been returned as we get our first look at this special version of the Air Yeezy 2 rumored to have been created for Kobe himself. As you can see, the shoe adopts the wild color scheme from the Christmas ‘Leopard’ edition of the Zoom Kobe VII Supreme, giving the Yeezy series perhaps its wildest colorway yet. These have indeed been confirmed to be legit and while it’s not known if they were limited to a “1 of 1″ for Kobe, it’s unlikely that we’ll see a retail release for these, so for now, enjoy the pics and we’ll be sure to keep you posted if new details surface.
